IMPORTANT - Some things you REALLY need to know about the exam.

The structure of the exam is very simple, but you NEED to make sure that you answer ALL of the questions.

Q. How many questions do we have to answer?

A. In each section, you have to find questions on your CHOSEN TEXTS. Everything else can be ignored. Your chosen texts are 'OF MICE AND MEN' and 'AN INSPECTOR CALLS'.

Section A

In SECTION A, you will be give a CHOICE OF TWO QUESTIONS about AN INSPECTOR CALLS. This is about the WHOLE PLAY.

Choose ONE of the two, and answer it. Do NOT answer both.

Section B

In section B, you will be given an EXTRACT from OF MICE AND MEN, and asked a question about it, as well as a FURTHER question about the rest of the novel. YOU MUST ANSWER BOTH OF THESE.

The extract questions are very easy to work your way through because it is just a question of looking at the sort of language which has been used by the author, and writing PEE paragraphs.

The LARGE BOOKLET which I am posting on the blog called 'OF MICE AND MEN: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW' explains exactly how to tackle this question.

And that's it.
